Depot Day 18 was a huge success...especially the live auction.  Dorie Damuth's cake went for $2300.00 thanks to Cecil Bell, Jr.  He contacted a number of people to donate to the purchase and then took it to the the Community Building to allow any and all to sample it.

All of the proceeds from Depot Day go to the upkeep of the grounds, depot, doctor's office, and museum.  We are always looking for items to add to the museum.

At this time we would like to have a "Black Heritage" display and I have many old pictures but no memorabilia.  Anyone who would like to contribute, please contact the Magnolia Historical Society at 281-674-4505.  The museum is open each Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.  The Schaibles are always there and Buna delights in telling of the history and giving tours through the museum.
